Speed of Sound (or SoS for short) started its journey in the baritone's kitchen in July, 2011, just three days after the movers delivered her furniture! Ten months later, SoS won the Region 14 quartet competition with a record score. In October, 2012, SoS will represent Region 14 at the Sweet Adelines International Quartet Competition in Denver, Colorado.
The quartet members collectively hold eleven regional quartet championship medals, and have more decades of barbershop quartet experience than they're willing to admit!
SoS loves to perform, and is available for weekend performances and shows. Its large repertoire includes barbershop standards, doo wop, comedy, tender ballads, jazz songs, and rousing gospel tunes.
